I accidentally caused my cat to lose her leg a few weeks ago and I couldn't cry, because of all the stuff I've seen and forced myself to be numb to through 4chan. I regret not being able to show sympathy for an animal suffering at my hand.

It was objectively bad. It was literally tearjerker after tearjerker after tearjerker, with nothing to break it up. We didn't get the chance to bond with the characters as we never got to see them in any situation other than tragedy. It needs to be rewritten with a bunch of extra scenes added in to pad it out so the sad scenes are actually sad instead or just seeming normal. It also needs a government agent villain who tries to capture Dashie after she is seen in public or some shit.
When I'm alone and I get sad I will start crying like immediately, seriously, I'm "built close to the water", like my mother used to say.
When I listened to a dramatic reading of My Little Dashie I cuddled the closest pony plush I had and cried for an hour.
Went for a long and contemplative smoke break afterwards and thought about life...
I read it a couple years ago.
It was forced as shit and I felt nothing.
