That and as much as I'd love to write a bloodborne green the content is pretty dense, you can take liberties and add pone but even after hours of lore vids there are still things I would have to research on the fly especially because I have not played the old hunters dlc and that shit adds and most of it is just speculation. I won't say the souls series is more straight forwards but it seems to lend itself better than Bloodborne

I like to design all my characters to have strengths, but also inherent weaknesses. It makes them all feel unique in playstyle, no dumbass jack-of-all-trades Havelmages for me.
Anyway, I had a sorcerer character who was adept at pretty much all magic, though I generally played him as a hexer/pyromancer with a bit of healing magic on the side. Also, I hid the pyro hand with a pair of binoculars in my offhand until meleefags tried to cuddle too hard and got a G. Combustion for their trouble, or I needed to Forbbiden Sun a sipper or some shit.
His weakness though was, no shields allowed, and his melee was garbage. I always carried a dagger to cut up bitches if I needed, but otherwise he couldn't melee for shit. Was a pretty fun character. I never bought into the hurf durf magic is OP shit. In PvE I guess it is, but PvP it's easily predicted.For the record, my main was a rogue type, never rocked any magic until I was probably level 300 and 400+ hours into the char. And then it was weapon buff and maybe a Scraps of Life/Lifedrain Patch and a heal at most. Needed a bit of magic when I rebuilt the char into a ninja type

Like, my first playthrough of Dark Souls I was so immersed thanks to the no cutscenes and brilliant use of shortcuts that I played for hours, the only thing that brought me back to reality was that I realized I hadn't eaten yet that day.
Then there's the storytelling, although not traditional is really solid. Most of the information is there, you just have to want it.

Because the DkS universe is dope and filled with lore, some of which is speculated based on a larger-than-you universe that you play in. And it MAKES you want to think about it because there's so many possibilities for how everything came to be.
Kinda like mlp. Though we have these smaller stories taking place in the show, it's interesting to see how people can be creative with the FIM universe by filling in the gaps of what's not explained in the show.
Combining the two is just one of those things that we all enjoy probably because it combines two of our favorite things. And you can be creative with it, I guess.
