I'm not sure they have the capability of doing anything substantial. As the good guys, they can STOP other things from doing stuff, but as far as actually doing anything themselves, only Twilight would actually be a threat on any level.
What if they become like the Justice Lords where they set up a tyranny where ponies have to accept frienship or else?
