1. I like the mane 6, but I mentally relate to Twilight the most.
2. She's a failed Twilight, and while that is an alluring aspect for her character, she became a cliche villain in her debut. That and her debut was utterly awful for even a child's film as it relies more on cliches than actual creativity. It's funny because this character has so much that could make her stand out (and for many, she does), but it's all watered down by the embarrassingly bad movie she had starred in. I want to like this character, but these films are some of the worst kind that can be made. I get it, they're kid's movies...but so was Toy Story and The Land Before Time. Shim was made solely to sell a product that plays on a fantasy that being a teenage girl is cool, because you get to be older and have a boyfriend, all the while the movie makes Twilight into a blank slate for the viewer to go on, hence why Twilight is totally incapable of anything. What I mean is that Twilight is made from an independent character going through a drastic change in her life to a fucking Mary Sue for the target audience, just so they can feel like "the new girl" at the big and strange school. This is why Brad's character sucks as well. He's a stereotype, and it's totally intentional. He's the totally rad guitar playing shit, and he's the object of Twi's desire, but Shimmer and him were an item, thus making more tension between the two characters, and giving Twilight even less motivation for liking him on a personal level, and more on a "I'm a teenage girl, and you're a bad-boy in a leather jacket with a heart of gold so we should fuck" kind of level. Shimmer is too weak of a character due to the horrible story she is made for, the film "Equestria Girls" makes these characters into stereotypes instead of actual characters, and Jesus fuck EQG is the least creative piece of garbage I've had to endure. Haber is the cancer of entertainment.but does Shimmer have some hips...
