They're already on the works anyways but not by DHX or any studio that worked on MLPFIM.

The dec. 2017 movie will be the epitaphof MLPFIM's existence and it better be good.

2018 will be the official launch of generation 5.

G4 would have lasted longer than any previous franchise.
