Did you even watch the scenes? It's pretty clear that she wanted to go back, not because she actually wanted to, but because she was frustrated at not understanding how magic works in EqG land. Basically she is a quitter in the deleted scenes. And in the deleted ending she flat out states she wants to remain with the girls instead of returning to equestrian

Nigga what? If there was an EQG movie being released as early as April '16, we'd have heard about it by now.
All we've heard as of now is "it exists". Whereas the other movies all had many other things like trailers and synopses and promotional media, 5-8 months before their releases.
