The pleb taste of the casual audience certainly is what killed Obsidian's chance of making another meaningful contribution to the actual Fallout franchise. I guess I'm more of a fan of RNG than I should be, even with how much it fucks me over sometimes. I just love getting that super rare item early in the game and wiping the floor with enemies for most of the rest of the game. Luck builds in 2/NV were fun as fuck too, and I like the perks luck gives you in 4, but I can see how it's not a great stat to put it all into.

Personally I can't really enjoy relying on random chance, even if having higher luck increases that chance, because I obsess over being able to control the actions I take and the outcomes. It's borderline OCD and drives me to try to save every npc I can or set up the best place for them to live. I ended up spending several hours just building up Sanctuary and making sure it had enough food, water, and defense. But I had fun being the one setting up the place.

I bought an Xbox One for one reason, and one reason only: to play Fallout 4. I don't give a shit about any of its exclusives, it was just the cheapest way for me to play Fallout 4 (there's a snowflake's chance in hell my laptop can run it).
When I first started the game, I began wandering around the vault, looking really close at every object and surface on my 1080p monitor (again, purchased only for FO4).
I couldn't believe how ugly it was. Every object was blocky and jagged, every surface was blurry and muddy, every shadow was pixelated and choppy. The whole game was just butt fucking ugly. This is what I waited 7 years for. This is what I spent a combined total of $620 on - someone who works a part time job, who often cannot afford to buy food, let alone pay rent and bills.
I turned off the Xbox in disgust, making plans to sell it and return the game.
I came back the next day and gave it another try, just for laughs. I was fucking hooked.
Bethesda had done everything I prayed they would do during all those years I waited. You could sprint, aim down the sights, melee attack, third person controlled like a third person game, and you could even throw grenades without having to switch weapons!
I went outside, and Boston looked a hell of a lot more beautiful than I remembered. The music sucked me in and a wave of nostalgia rushed over me. All the little details; the little animations when you're using the pipboy, the blood smeared on your melee weapons when you hit someone, the thick, gooey clouds that spurt out of things' bodies when you shoot them, the hilariously animated Vault Boy notifications, even the glare on the pipboy screen from the sun that is instantly familiar to any smartphone user...
The graphics suddenly didn't matter anymore. It was the most beautiful game I'd ever played.

With this fix, I'm loving the gameplay. Exploring the wasteland for weird bethesda sidequests/encounters and upgrading my stuff to rekt my enemies is what I do in this game. The story related dialogue though, is complete shit and doesn't allow me to even have my own character. I feel like I'm controlling an autistic child and in the worst cases no matter what I choose in the dialogue wheel the outcome is the same.

Sneak is the one thing I've seen mentioned the most and having logged an embarrassing amount of time into NV alone testing different builds it's definitely the easiest way to play, albeit slow as fuck.
My favorite method is maximum variation which usually means spreading my skills thin in a Jack-of-all-trades build. And I am completely comfortable with wearing less than optimum defense armor if it happens to look good in 3rd person.

Yeah the shotguns are especially great about working around the clunky shooting mechanics. Those are usually my go to weapon if I'm not RPing a specific build.

Glad to be back Pip! Today started out well enough, for me at least…
“Yo Drop!” The scratchy voice rang out in the hollowed space ringing like an alarm set to be extra annoying.
Cracking an eye open, caked with sleep, I groaned before turning over on my bunk cloud to glare at the offending voice. Hovering with a far too cheery grin to her face was Thunderclap, her black mane swirled around her neck as she leaned over to prod me with a silvery hoof. Ignoring her, I curled up drawing part of my cloud over my side as I stared at the concrete grey of the rounded tunnel I was sleeping in.
“Get up already! We’ve got cloud maintenance again and I don’t want to miss the waffles in the mess because of your slow ass!”
Shifting in my cloud, I slowly, achingly, sat up before my back let out a satisfying pop, like a cloud circuit snapping into place. Yawning, I held a hoof to my mouth before asking, “Didn’t we fix those two days ago? What’s the problem this time?”

“Apparently too many of the apartment blocks got together, and now we’ve got an unscheduled rain storm going on the lower levels.” Thunder replied as I slid off my bunk and turned back to it.
Keying in my identity code I watched as the cloud reeled back into the dispenser in the wall. Flying over to the alcove near my bunk, I opened my locker grabbing my weather engineer jacket and slipped it on. Pausing at the small mirror hanging in the locker, I adjusted my long yellow braid over my shoulder, my lilac coat was ruffled from tossing and turning in my sleep and there were definitely bags under the teal eyes that stared back. My mother would always complain that I’d never find a special somepony if I didn’t take care of my looks, not that it would help since most stallions looked for larger wings, and sleeker body frame, which I happened to lack with my stocky frame and average wing span. I needed to preen my feathers soon, as well.
Hidden behind the feathers was my cutie mark which was a single cloud with a lightning bolt missing from the center. To be honest, when I got my cutie mark I always thought it meant that I was really good with cloud tech since most clouds have a small spark of lightning in them to run alongside the water. At the same time I always felt like I was missing something in life, I just never really knew what.
Kicking the door closed, I look over to Thunder as she finishes explaining, “That’s it? Why’d they get us then? That’s recruit stuff.”
Shrugging, Thunderclap looks down the tunnel out to the Hole. The Hole, as everypony called it, was the central area of the stable. Stable Tech had decided that the best way to create a pegasi friendly stable, was to give us the biggest play pen. The best way to do that, build the entire stable inside of a mountain, we learned that in history class that the stable was built inside of the Bucking Bronco Mountain Range located near Ponyville.

After slipping on my jacket, I landed on the floor and began the journey to the edge of the tunnel, nodding to my other bunk mates, that were getting dressed as well. At the edge of the tunnel, I looked down taking in the view, I only had a modest income so my bunk was in the cloud ring of the stable. Still, I reflected wearily as I looked down on the orchard far below, it was an awe inspiring sight. The trees rustled lightly in the winds brought by the rain clouds that drizzled over the farms that spread all the way to the residential sectors of the Earth Ponies and nearby where the generators that powered the whole stable. Further past that was the waste disposal factory where the waste was shuffled out into a hole that fed into a small lava tube.
Glancing down I spread my wings before taking off from the tunnel heading up to the mess. Each of the rings had their own name, that they were called thanks to their inhabitants: Earth for the Earthies, orchard, waste disposal and generators, Magic for the residential area of Unicorns and Medical. after Magic is Mountain ring, that held the recreation rooms, the gym for the standing army and then the school itself. After that was the low income bracket where I lived called the Cloud ring, and above all of that was the sky ring where the higher income pegasi lived, usually generals and their families.
Ducking under a low hanging cloud, I shouted back to Thunderclap, “Why in Tartarus are these clouds so far down?”
Thunderclap smacks a cloud as she flies by dispersing it, “The condensation levels got too high when those apartments hit! Now do you see why they want us on the job?”
“Alright, alright just let me get something to eat first for Princess’ sake…” I muttered.

Crossing the Hole, I landed on the small railway that circles back towards my own bunk, I soon dove into the early morning crowd as pegasi jostled one another towards the mess hall, grabbing trays with mouths or wings before taking their breakfast to a table.
“The waffles! Save the waffles!” Thunderclap shouted in my ear, pushing me forward with her head. Cursing aloud, I was used as a battering ram, pushing aside other ponies as they glared at Thunder and I as we passed.
The bar started to come into sight. Thunderclap wasn’t stopping. Jerking my hind legs up, I slammed my hooves into the bar. Luckily the clang of hoof meeting metal was enough to get Thunder’s attention as she stopped pushing into my back.
Feeling Thunder poke her head around me to look, I felt her dart away. With a yelp I spread my wings and fell to the ground with a plop.
“Damn it Thunder come on! There’re just waffles!” I cried rubbing my sore behind.
“Heresy!” Thunderclap snapped back at me, with a plate of waffles, ”That’s okay my precious, she knows not what she speaks that’s all.” Thunder cooed at her breakfast.
Rolling my eyes, I stood up and started to get my own breakfast together: granola. man I love this stuff, so crunchy, so sweet. Mm! We found our table soon enough, after paying, and that’s when I knew the day was going to go from bad to worse. A shadow came over the two of us, as we were eating, I had just taken a bite of my granola and yogurt too, “Hey feather brains what are the two of you doing at our table?”
Oh pony feathers not this ass.
Hovering near our table was Jetstream, she was a Wonderbolt cadet who had too big of an ego. Jetstream was wearing her uniform over her light blue coat, and her white mane was swept back in that stupid mane cut she favored. she called it being aerodynamic, I just called it stupid.

‘Oh Thunder that’s not going to help.’ I grimaced as Jetstream leveled a glare at Thunderclap, “Maybe you should know your betters, you engipunk! We’re the ones that are going to retake Equestria when it’s no longer irradiated!”
“Yeah, but until then we’re all stuck in here and you’re just a caged bird. Just there to look pretty and pretend to be important.” Thunderclap snarked right back, getting up from her seat to butt heads with Jetstream.
“Girls stop fighting, you’re both pretty and I don't want to end up in court-martial with the Overmare! ” I snapped at the duo. It’s far too early in the morning to deal with this.
“Pfft yeah makes sense that your dyke lover would back you up.”
The cafeteria which had already been quiet, from the ordeal, suddenly stilled. Seeing me frozen in place Jetstream smirked, “What did I hit a little too close to ho-”
A silver hoof crashes into Jetstreams face. For a moment, shock is all that registers on the mare’s face before she is sent crashing to the floor.

“You take that back you windbag!” Thunderclap snarled flying up into the air and slammed down into the ground straddling the Wonderbolt trainee. Thunderclap managed to get in two good shots before Jetstream bellowed and rolled them over.
Jetstream started to lay blow after blow into Thunderclap. It only took me a moment to spring out of my seat and smash into Jetstream's side, sending us both tumbling over the ground rolling.
Then we fell.
As we scuffled mid-air, Jetstream sent a hoof straight to my eye, forcing me to let go. the entire Hole seemed to shake, as I hovered in place. Jetstream narrowed her eyes at me before darting forward, and I jerked back on reflex, only that was what Jet wanted. Flapping her wings hard Jet pulled in with the air currents and damn that hurts!
Shaking off the blow to the head, I went on the offensive, spinning before lashing out with a kick. Jetstream easily caught my hoof and swung me around, dropping me several feet before I regained my altitude.
Before I could have another go at Jet I heard, “Is something wrong here?”
Gritting my teeth, I looked over and groaned. Hovering not a scant few feet away was none other than Commander Stream, one of the four generals that oversaw operations in the Stable.
“Dad! I got this!”
And also Jetstream’s father.
Stupid, so stupid! I shouldn’t have lost my temper!
“Cadets! Fall in line!” Commander Stream barked out in his parade voice.
With no other option, I trudged over to hover next to Jetstream, ignoring the look of self satisfaction she had on her face. Dreading what the Commander had to say I braced for the punishment. What would it be? Discharge? Latrine duty? Something unpleasant that much I knew for sure.

“Cadet Jetstream! What do you have to say about this?”
“Sir! The engi and I were engaging in PT, Sir!”
“Well since you both seem to be enjoying the rigors of PT so much, Fifty laps around the orchard! No flying!” Commander Stream shouted at us both.
I ground my teeth, already heading down to the orchard. Jetstream wasn’t that smart, “Sir?”
“You heard me cadet! Fifty laps, I want them now!”
Shaking the ringing out of my ears, I landed on the ground and started to make tracks. Starting in a light jog I kept at the pace, waving with a wing at some of the Earth ponies tending the farms. Some waved back in return, others were content to ignore me as they bucked the trees as hard as they could. This stable might have been designed with Pegasi first, but there were plenty of Earth ponies and Unicorns in the lower levels. After all, an army marches on it’s stomach, and with all of the exercises and drills that the Overmare pushed through, ponies ate through the stores faster than a Sonic Rainboom.

Hearing a thud behind me, I noticed that the oh so high and mighty Jetstream had arrived for her punishment alongside me. “Not a word.” Jetstream warned before she took the lead. I didn’t mind as I wasn’t looking forward to the rain maintance, at the end of the fifty laps. Jetstream continued her fast pace lapping me about twice before she started back into the same light jog as myself alongside me as we ran.
As we ran, I wondered why Jetstream always seemed to have it out for me and Thunderclap. Around the twentieth lap around I finally worked up the courage to ask “Why do you have such a problem with Thunder and I anyway?”
A sharp glance to me is all I receive for a response from the volatile mare. Huffing, I kept the pace before I hear a familiar voice, “Rain! Rain!”
Blinking, I had but a moment, before a small green blur rams into my side, a snout buried into the crook of my wing joint. With a huff, I flex my wing around the questing snout to wrap around the black haired Earth colt that peered up between my feathers with an innocent smile.
“Spring Blossom! What have you done now?” I asked with resignation in my voice as I slowed to a walk, letting the colt keep pace.
“What makes you think I did anything? I didn’ do nuffin!” Spring Blossom protests before looking around shiftily, “Say do you have any Cloud Fluff?”
Nudging him off with a hip, I raised an eyebrow, “You realize that stuff is going to make you into a tubby pony right?”

I dig my hooves into the ground, grinding to a halt as I angrily step in front of Spring Blossom, glaring right back at Jetstream, “Hey, you leave him out of this, if we didn’t have ponies like him then we’d have nothing but dust and rocks to eat”
“Whatever, enjoy playing in the mud, Drop.” Jetstream snarls back before spreading her wings, and taking off into the sky toward the Wonderbolt training zone. Those thoughts faded as I heard sniffling from behind me and I saw Spring Blossom looking at the ground with tears in his eyes.
Kneeling down beside the colt, I gently patted his shoulder, “Hey, buck up now, it’s not supposed to be raining here quite yet yanno? Sides that doofus is just full of hot air.”
Seeing that Spring Blossom was still looking a bit teary eyed, I groaned and pulled out another cloud fluff. “Here, ya little scamp.”
Immediately Spring’s tears were forgotten as he nabbed the treat with delight in his eyes.
“Thanks Rain! You’re the best.”
Patting his rump with a wing, I nudged him back to the orchard, “Right, now get outta here before you get in trouble with your folks alright?”

With that taken care of, I started running again, finishing off my remaining laps.
With a sigh, I checked my pipbuck for the coordinates of the rain cloud. Looked to be in the upper residential sector near the water tank. That’s rather odd, usually when the condensation occurs it's closer to the ground, where the heat from the bottom levels meets the cooler air of the pegasi held districts.
Wings flapping,I sped off, still panting from the ‘morning PT session. I made my way through the training zone for the wonderbolt cadets, a segment of the mountain that is an open aired gym that had nearly the same amount of the residential district in terms of space, but the clouds there are left wild to simulate an Equestria gone haywire without pegasi guidance. The Overmare and Stable Tech had planned on our stable to be one of the bulwarks for the other civilian stables after all.
I winged my way through the zooming cadets and came upon the site of the incident, there to find Thunderclap munching on some choice words as she smacked a cloud bank she was adjusting. “Bucking udder of a Cowation heifer!”
“Jeez you kiss your mother with that mouth?”
“Rain! Get over here and help me fix this mess.”
Hovering beside her, I started to pull out some of my tools from my belt as I asked, still out of breath, “What’s the problem?”
“Whole cloud needs a hard reset it looks like, too much water is in the system for the
circuits to actually function. Plus when I was trying to push it back into it’s designated area, the stupid thing just collapsed as soon as I let it go!” Punctuating her frustration Thunderclap bucks the cloud once more, thunder rumbling in response from the cloud.

“Well let’s not go smacking the poor thing, what’s it primary purpose then?” Leaning over the shoulder of my friend I delve my hooves into the soft fluffy cloud bank.
“Supposed to be part of the piping for the water tank above us, don’t know why but the stupid thing is rerouting the water from the side pipes and into the clouds below it.”
“Weird, did you try to draw out the water?”
“Yeah, because trying to take the water out of a pipe cloud is an intelligent idea.”
“Just a suggestion, no need to bite my head off, let me try this.”
The closest way to describe how cloud engineering works to a non flier is rather hard, as it involves a type of magic that most other races simply don’t get, it’s similar to how you use your nose or a unicorn uses their magic. Part determination and part instinct the closest way to put it would be each cloud works on it’s own power and follows a set of instructions that a flier puts in. Earth ponies often called it as programming hardware, which makes sense as Earth pony tech is a pain in the flank since you can’t rewire the whole unit to do what you want unlike a cloud.
Though one thing that is in favor of Earth pony tech would be the fact that they don’t have to worry about their tech suddenly dumping water all over things, sturdy stuff that. Working away at the cloud I was just about ready to tease the circuits for forming the pipeline again when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Startled, as I has sunk deep into my work, I turned to see some fresh faced Wonderbolt cadet start to talk when my front was suddenly soaked through.

Slowly I turned back to look at the cloud I had been working on to find much to my displeasure, that it had collapsed within itself and drenched my entire uniform. Thunder was at that point struggling to move a new cloud over the running water from the remains of the pipeline. Darting in to help, I ignored the frustrated cries of the Wonderbolt cadet as I grabbed the other side of the cloud line with Thunder and gave a heavy shove to the whole assembly. With a sickening crack the clouds extended and we both went to work on the thinned out portions of piping. Drawing out the water within the pipe to stabilize the entire circuit of the cloud before it could spring another leak or condense again.
Once finished Thunder and I collapsed on a stray floating cloud ledge before I whirled on the cadet, “What in Spitfire’s fiery pantaloons were you thinking?! Do you know how much water we just lost because of that stunt? Who's your superior Cadet! I oughta…”
At that point in my triad Thunder elbowed me in the side and pointed at the Cadet’s badge which shined in the light as Military Police, which were the force that answered only to the Overmare of the stable. For a member of the MP to be here could only mean one of two things, I was being summoned for a meeting with the Overmare herself, or more likely I was in some serious trouble.
Licking my lips as the stoic stallion had yet to say anything I offered up, “Well, it’s still true…”
Hearing Thunder groan beside me I glanced at her to see her holding a hoof to her face, “Just go Drop, before you get me in trouble next.”Welp that's about five or seven pages, I think it's ok, but could maybe do better or something I dunno. even without little bugs like that it was unsatisfying.I wanted to save the synths because interactions with Curie convinced me they were equal to people in the emotional department, so I joined the railroad and they told me to go work with the institute, and as I did that the institute grew on me and then both sides gave me orders to completely destroy the other so I said fuck it and reloaded an earlier save and went exploring.
I'll probably go minuteman in the end, if I can even figure out how since the only thing they ever ask of me is to help settlements with raider problems.

Still disappointed overall, early game dungeon crawling is fun, midgame is heh but the ending is all fucked up by lack of finishing touches between the faction, the fact that you can interact with them all pretty far before it fucks up without much of a bat of an eye with the others due to the limited dialogs hinders it a lot. That and the lack of reactions from the companions not with you.

I didn't do any bortherhood quests, so when theyshowed up at the battle bunker hill, I was extraordinarily confused. And when they attacked the railroad, again I was confused and had no idea why. To make it more confusing, the Institute suspected I had something to do with the brotherhood showing up at bunker hill, when I legitimately had no idea why they showed up at all. Bunker Hill killed immersion for me because I just got so lost and confused and I just gave up on the story after that. The railroad had told me to kill the institute courser that was escorting me at bunker hill so they could free the synths, and I showed up at this huge important battle and absolutely nobody there fired any shots at me. I just walked through heavy fire without a scratch and attacking the synths present there didn't turn them against me. Hell, shooting the courser in the face with a shotgun didn't turn him against me. I literally didn't have to do anything at that battle, the railroad quest doesn't require you to even get close to the battle itself. You just kill the courser and go talk to Father and it's over even though the railroad is being attacked by two separate armies at once, one of which was completely unexpected by me and the reason you were there was to protect them. I can safely say, Fallout 4's endgame is lacking a bit.
And I've had the Castle for days now, and I haven't been called back for endgame shit. I got called back for the artillery, which is baller as fuck, but nothing else.
The rest of the game is fun as hell, but the main story sucks ass, which is what everyone expected really.

That quest had the same for me for different reasonsI did the first institute quest before joining the Railroad, so when I did join the railroad I already had the quest active so the option to warn them never appeared. Then I did it your way. I think the brotherhood is supposed to attack either way.
Alsobecause you "joined" the Institute the first railroad quest at the donut shop has all the synth being friendly to you but not the dude, also ruins it.In fallout NV you could stay friendly with most except Caesar for the majority of the game, but here they expect you to stick with someone to the end which is a bother. I normally finish the game before exploring but given all that it locks you out of I'll just compelte everything just after that battle.

Yeah, I don't like being locked out of shit by story progression. I made a save just before the institute quest that turns the brotherhood against you knowing I would probably want go back to that point to go in a different direction.
And I've had so many funny things happen with allegiances fucking things. During the quest wherethe courser companion joins you to take down the raider synth, the brotherhood flew in and landed some guys right in front of the warehouse he was waiting for you in so I just sat back and watched as he got absolutely creamed by three guys in power armor. They then left him there and ran onto the flotilla and wiped out every raider they could find. The whole time the courser would keep getting back up and attacking them from the back while I kind of just followed the brotherhood across the floating platforms and watched them purge the raider scum. It was funnier than it had any right to be.
But the brotherhood was the greatest thing. Watching them fly in and fucking up everybody in an area was a blast.

Following in line behind the MP I flew alongside the stallion before he veered off towards the Overmare’s office, the ledge jutted out in a landing platform for fliers that lead to the station was the only pegasi held area that was embedded into the mountain itself. Following in after my guide I thought about making small talk, but had the impression that the fella beside me wouldn’t budge from the discipline that made the military police so feared. Coming to a large steel door that was guarded by a duo of pegasi they watched me impassively while my guide showed his badge. After a moment the doors hissed open and I was shoved inside. Stumbling in I sent an angry glare back at the guard only to get a steel door in my face, after which I turned my view on the big cheese of the stable.
The Overmare swiveled around in her chair and I caught her eyes, a rather fierce golden hazelnut, as they examined me from hoof tip to the top of my mane, I'll admit I started to sweat over the inspection before the Overmare nickered and let out a heavy whinny. I wanted to ask what was wrong, but that was answered soon enough when she reached a sunflower yellow hoof over to a drawer and pulled out a bottle of illegal cider! Ever since somepony had accidentally fallen over their housing unit to their deaths from intoxication anything that was above twenty five proof was deemed disruptive to the stable. Overmare, I've never really found out what her name was to be honest, took a deep swig of the drink and offered it to me which I shook my head no too.
"Heh, good on ya kid, more for me at least." Overmare mutters before swigging the drink again and slamming it down near a file she had opened. Craning my head a bit, I could just make out a picture features prominently on the top, it was my service file! Was I being submitted for a revision? Had I done something wrong?

The cloud core, that was the main infrastructure of the entire stable! With it all of the stable’s cloud based needs were answered and it formed the backbone of the pegasi districts assisting in creating housing, machinery for work and even as part time generators for when the Earth pony electrical units have to be closed down for renovations.

Overmare say's staring at me with bloodshot eyes, it looked like she had either hit the drinks or had been crying, might have been both.
"But, then but, how...what can we do, I think if we had some concrete or welders we could..."
Shaking her head Overmare pushes back from her chair and clops around to stand before me with a leveled look, "Kid, I've been over the schematics, I've had the head engineer of both factions look this problem over and what we have just isn't enough to handle the pressure and weight. If we had the ability to take it out of the mountain we'd be golden."

Earth Strong and Cloud Shear were both ponies that I had heard of that formed part of the council inside the Stable, on paper they were a group that worked to provide advice and help the Overmare in matters both military and domestic, the reality of it was that the council was a power mongering group that held its own groups, the two noticeable of which were the Skyclad faction that said Pegasi were the epitome of Equestria and all other races were meant to serve them as they kept the weather calm and the people safe, the other faction were the Stoneborn, a group of Earth ponies and unicorns that held that investing in Earth pony and Unicorn magic was the way to go, having Pegasi working only as soldiers as cloud technology was often described as flimsy at best. Which is rather insulting, I do good work with clouds thank you very much!
"Opening the Stable yes, the radiation out there is still reading in the danger zone so that's a moot point. The tech heads and both factions gave us about a year before the tank just drops on top of us all. However..." Overmare slowly trots over to a billboard that had been hanging from the wall covered in notices, reminders and military practices. Using her mouth she gently tugs a paper free from the mass of paper and offers it to me. Taking the slip of paper into my hoof I looked it over and it shows, "Hooviet made strong concrete?" I read slowly over the faded exuberant text showing a red star shining brightly over a stallion holding a jar of the concrete in the air with a confident grin saying 'Hooviet Stronk!'

"It's because we need everypony on board for containing this problem before it spills over Engineer, that and you're free for it."
"But, that's what about the military police? Shouldn't they handle it? I don't I'm not even trained...not to mention that my friends wou-"
"Buck up soldier!" Over mare snaps as she stomps a hoof on the floor making me shrink back in distress ears flopping down as my wings shuffle awkwardly. "You took the survival course same as any other pony, you've been taught how to fight where to hit the enemy where it hurts most. So you will do your duty or I will have you court martialled!”

"However, what you must understand Engi, is that we can't just open the stable door for no reason."
Stashing away my discomfort from the blow I asked, "Ma'am?"
"You're going to be staging a break out of the Stable."Damn thing cut me off, dropped off more for ya fellas.
