Is it something respecting the robot could have protected?

There's a coup going on in Turkey. This wouldn't have happened if they had respected the robot.

>I don't into news what's happening
Turkey's army got tired of the leader being a dictator regularly curtailing freedoms and generally islaming things to shit so they got rid of him.

Not sure if good or bad.

One of the basic and fundamental functions of the Turkish military is to over throw crappy rulers.
As lon as they don't start clamoring about "The Age of Reason" they should be fine.

Hey, the military coup in Egypt that BTFO of the Muslim Brotherhood has worked out well so far.

Good.

They're far from perfect, but certainly wise because seriously the Brotherhood was going to start a suicidal war with Israel and the soldiers said "Nah, no thanks, fuck that shit: we enjoy breathing."

Turkey is a oddball some years ago the military tried a coup for all the wrong reasons (purely a power grab) and the government was purely secular at the time.

Now shit is reversed.

>>14500480
Turkey has had multiple secular coups, not even counting the Ataturk revolution.

It's standard. It's actually the military's job in Turkey to start coups whenever the government isn't secular enough. It's actually stated in their doctrine.

onlines are speculating that this was a half-assed fake coup by Eragon so he can now claim Super King
>>
>>14501423
It was all a ruse.

The conscripts were set up by their superiors.

You'd think Team America: World Police would take him to task for sacrificing his own citizens as political fodder, but Obama's also a proud member of the same Autocrat's Club for Autocrats as God King Eragon and Supreme Leader Putin.

There's literally no constitutionally inclined superpower left in the world, which means it's only a matter of time before democracies eventually start falling like dominos.

It's more like the rise of Zeon, where moderates and secularists will be purged to create a theocratic autocracy founded upon the political elites' cult of personality.

Likewise, the trigger for it will have been a sham staged by those elites to consolidate their own power.

While the Titans rose to combat an outside threat, Zeon rose from the corpses of its own political dissidents.

All hail the Ditchy of Turkey.

>Hey, the military coup in Egypt that BTFO of the Muslim Brotherhood has worked out well so far.

Only about four people disappear and get tortured for between a few days to a few months every week, and they don't even have a proper race war, so no - US Democracy was not spread to Egypt.

>>

None since its all bias, I don't know what kind of reports you can evaluate as credible since information that circulates like that is usually hard to read.

All the media shares is hate speech..just saying.
>>
>>14500426
In one way, it's bad because Erdogan was elected democratic way and this coup went against that democracy.
In other way, it's good because Erdogan is constantly trying to gain more power to himself and make a secular free state to spiral towards authoritarian Islamic state.

You can bet your ass every world leader and journalist of Western democracies hate this guy but they had to condemn the coup anyway because it went against the values they should represent.
>>
>>14502626
>because Erdogan was elected democratic way and this coup went against that democracy.
he extended his term with some bullshit after other parties won office and it was clear he wasn't going to be kept in
it would be kinda like if Obama bullshitted his way into a third term without an election after a GOP sweep in congress

Also very worrying when Erdogan called this coup "gift from God" to clean up their army from those who would oppose the government or that the prime minister suggests to bring back death penalty. It is very likely he will use this opportunity to gain even more dictatorship and discriminate the groups that were already in bad position.
>>
>>14502625

Well of course all media is biased, that doesn't mean you just ignore it and remain completely ignorant.

>>

>You can bet your ass every world leader and journalist of Western democracies hate this guy but they had to condemn the coup anyway because it went against the values they should represent.

Coup's failure was apparent it seems. Turkey is part of NATO and Erdogan is the guy who heads it and maintains that status, so it was politically and diplomatically to condemn the coup.
>>
>>14502731
It's possible it was staged by Erdogan. This way it would seem like he's the great democratic leader and the other option is this. Now they're talking about bringing back death penalty. The whole coup felt very half-assed. This guy is a desperate warmonger whose all plans have worked against him and he's portraying Islamists as the citizens of Turkey when it isn't so. He even wants to give citizenship to the millions of unregulated refugees in the camps because it gives a huge voting block, obviously the citizens of Turkey are against this. This kind of people ruin the idea of democracy.
