I will agree that the worst part of G-Reco kits were the hands. The Elf Bullocks only had one set of hands and they're the most boring ones ever. Mack Knife only had one set of hands, too. There's no polycap socket for any of their hands which makes them wear out fast. The kits were obviously made in a hurry without enough thought put into them. Of course nothing stopped me from buying all of them.

Eventually they'll stop and when the 20 year olds or whoever get to 30/40 they wont be buying as many UC kits. Obviously it's better to remake it and get the ball rolling again or leave UC in the dust because AU kits are all the younger generation cares about.

Look, anon. UC will never be dropped. When sales get low for UC properties they animate or make up something else to sell more UC related things (see: Local type Gundam). Because believe it or not, UC gundam is pretty important to Bandai. We're always going to get AU's but no AU will ever be a big a UC and the fact that we already got a proper finished Origin manga series means an animated version could be right around the corner.

Except Early UC has come to define Gundam almost as a whole, Early UC is iconic enough to have the RX-78 made into a statue, and Late UC was a financial disaster that Sunrise hasn't touched since Victory. Sad to say.
