If you wanted, you could make some Attack Only for certain units, such as the Motorcycle dude.
Even then, it depends on when you get the machines. You could MAYBE extend the Star Driver plot and delay Samekh's rebirth for a couple of stages. If you did that, you could maybe be able to pull off getting those guys in the early-mid 40s in a 60 stage game (or just as easily 30s in a 50 stage game). That stuff sorta depends on what else is in the cast, though, so it's really hard to make a specific argument.

And while she does have a blind spot, it's actually somewhat tough to exploit it, because the field absolutely fucks your movement, so she'll be able to get in a few turns of potshots before you can close the distance. Better than Z2's even, considering that there's no follow through from the enemy in that one. Hell, Z2's follow through is exclusively the camera, as assbackwards as that is.

Just move Akimi around in the first 2 tun to make some of the enemy target him instead of NPC
Once your team arrived just heal the NPC to full every turn and clean up those mobs on the left as fast as possible with all spirit you have (double turn, etc)
