Kshatriya but funnel binders are replaced with Gabthley/Byarlant C arms by F/F 3mm adaptor. Hands are replaced with Rozen Zulu claws.
3. GM Custom "Mirage"
No shield, improved thrusters with 7thFA backpack without the giant fin things, grenades (rack from Jegan skirts), Re-GZ forearms for launchers, Beam Saber (rack from Jegan), 2 Shotguns (from Kämpfer, rack goes under backbackp, modified legs with GM Sniper II and Powered Cardigan verniers. Also uses a standard 90mm.
4. R-Jouster
R-Jarja made using the more modern Gyagya, but without the Gyan shields. Instead retains Jarja shoulders and headpiece, gatlings are replaced with MS Tanks with boosters at the end, and a GN-X III lance. Off-hand holds a stylized Gelgoog Marine shield.

Sort of. According to Zeonic Front's mechanics, yeah, it hovered like a Dom, but not as well. It was slower. Also, unlike the Dom, the feet were visibly off the ground.
In Battle Operation, the hovering is omitted in favor of just higher speed boosting for longer periods of time, meaning Mudrock was really more of a high mobility MS rather than a Dom wannabe. It could hover, if need be, but not like a Dom could.

Interesting thing to note about Battle Operation is the fact that while Mudrock isn't able to hover, the Armored GM IS, and does it very effectively, though still not as effectively as the Dom.

In addition, the thruster arrangement on the Okawara, Katoki, and Takegawa renditions of the Mudrock, the thruster/vernier arrangement is far more suited to operations in space than on the ground, so I think it's status as a ground assault mobile suit are suspect. There's a good chance that it was originally intended to go to space with the Blanc Rival.
Are there any current japanese sources that actually back up the idea of Mudrock being built specifically for land combat?

I'm being realistic here, it'd either use the 2.0/Red Warrior frame and be awesome as a MG, or they'd make a RE 100 if they didn't think it'd succeed as a MG. Which appears to be slowly phased out as it is, we're getting only the Freedom 2.0, Thunderbolt and Psycho Zaku at this point, I think we're fucked for MGs at this point.
