Oh well, Mulletman never managed to become number one. I'm kind of surprised how for 30ish stages my aces never changed. Masaki and Ryuusei switched places occasionally, but those three were always at the top, even though I used all units and didn't just clean everything with one guy.
It's really weird going from GBA OG1 to OGs OG1. OGs is MUCH easier that it's kind of disappointing. It could be the Twin system that made it so, since the game didn't change much other than pairing some units into Twin.
Might tackle it with a girls only run, from what I've seen, some other anon managed to get all SR points even with a limited cast.

Z1 was the last non-HD console game. The unfortunate truth is that HD graphics are now mandatory, and with that comes a dramatic increase in development time and costs. That means shit gets cut and deficiencies in animations are easier to see, unless you're OG and get enough time and budget to actually leverage HD's advantages.
