That show had so much design variation it felt like a SRW anime. It starts militaristic and then suddenly MC gets this huge robot with a human face. And in one of the later episodes came a new character who piloted a small Alteisen-looking ninjabot, that was so fast it could fight equally with Ordian.

Yeah, it felt like there was some interesting shit going on with the whole remaking stuff and so on but everything outside of Ordianbro's stuff is pretty much on the same level as HK guess-subs and it's kinda sad that in the end I mainly had to watch it for the sweet mech designs.
But still, I heard mixed opinions about it by people who watched it raw and understood it.
Some praised it as being a better NGE than NGE itself while others claimed it to be one of the worst shows ever (inb4 "where's the difference?").
