Random bit of inspiration hit me during a 4th of July concert the other night, so here is the sketch.
Invincible Homeland Patriot: Rushmore
Shown equipped with Freedom Deliverance Cannon: 2nd Amendment and Remote Battle Eagle Drone: Liberty. Wielding the massive cold-iron blade Cherryslayer.

Heroines: Lady Liberty, and throw in Britannia (pilot of her Her Majesty's mechanical defender) for a love triangle
Command Structure: POTUS, being CoC, is the one who authorizes launch. Congress deals with the beaurocracy. SCOTUS, led by the chief justice and eternal 10th member Justice (blindfold, scales, sword and all), provides order and supplies the Rushmore with energy.
POTUS can activate the White House to transform into the erupting blade Executor while the Oval Office mounts in the chest, SCOTUS changes their seats into a control room which combines with the head at which point the court turns into the shield of inalienable rights Judicator, and the Congressmen all approve the final fusion of the Senate and House into a sick backpack while they sit back and channel power from their respective states. Finally if it combines with all three parts Rushmore can open all four mouths to activate the destructive Three Branch Republic Strike: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness Cannon
