What's the deal, /m/?
You told me the animation was shit, but it's actually pretty good. You said it's essential Tominocore but it's not half as bad as Zeta.
I demand an explanation.
Muh Eva clone.
>>14456551
Even G-reco made more sense than this one.
>Bad as Zeta
>>14456587
I was seriously trying to figure out why everyone was fighting at the end after they figured out Orphan wasnt going to fuck up earth
>>14456876
> Zeta
> Bad
Pick one.
>>14456876
Zeta's dialogue is Tomino at his most chuuni.
Zeta is a lot better than Brain powerd however.
Brain powerd is still good, but kinda rough to get through on a first time viewing.
>>14456551
Cool shitpost bro. If the animation's so good, why don't you make a webm for demonstrating such fact?PROTIP: No matter how hard you try, you're not going to make this into a meme show like G-Reco is.
>>14457580
I don't know how to make webms.
>14456551
The only animation in the series that gets outright bad is some of the mecha stuff. Otherwise, it's pretty solid. Stiff, but solid.
How far are you? I mean, if you think the series is light on the Tomino dialogue, there's one episode early on that definitely fixes that really abruptly.Take a shot every time someone says "genius' sperm"

Okay, but how do I make WEBMs from anime files I have?
>>14458752
Learn how to use google, it's seriously not that hard.
>>14458752
Download XMedia Recode. Go to file and click on it. Then click on open file.
>>14458827
Find the file you want and click on it.
>>14458827
Load the file and then where it says output stream type click the video only button since you're posting on /m/.
>>14458853
Click on the Filters/Preview tab and then mess with the settings to get what you want in your webm.
>>14458864
When you are done messing with the setting, click the Add to queue button
>>14458876
Click the encode button and you're done. After it's done the webm will show up in your videos folder, or at least that's where mine shows up.
>>14456551
Both it and Zeta are among the best offerings in the genre. Brain Powerd especially had an incredibly unique and interesting setting. Jonathan Glenn is the best antagonist ever as well.

People who dont like brain powered have bad family relations and no friends
Does anyone else feel like the OST was just sort of doing its own thing?
>>14457580
You are literally the personification of butthurt in human form. I see you post in every fucking discussion that might remotely involve G-Reco. Do you browse every thread on /m/, routinely searching for an opportunity just so you can trod out the same fucking shitposts?
>hurr durr meme show xD
Hey, you wanna know what the definition of autism is? it's posting the same shit over and over again and expecting people to not laugh at how much of autistic sperg you are.

/m/ forgot that Tomin's non-gendum shows tend to be better.
At least they exist in a vacuum (rather than a serious war drama) where the silliness doesn't seem out of place.
The brains are also the most adorable mass produced sentient robot waifus you'll ever find, which means everyone gets an equally capable companion cube by the time the show ends.
Without muh power levels or muh special snowflakes, Brain Powerd turned out to be one of Tomino's more enjoyable autistic romps.
Regardless, /m/ still hates it because /m/ hates everything in a special tsundere sort of way.
Hime's voice is the cutest shit

Next you'll be telling me King Gainer was better then G-RecoIt was.
I liked it, but I had to watch it twice to fully appreciate it.
>>14456551
This show is so bad the dub made it better, and english is my second language. Was kind of a entertaining mess, but had some entertaining plot threads like Johnathan and his crazy mother, or how the top researcher at Orphan was a fucking cuckold.
As a matter of fact, though he probaly was the most (almost) entertaining character in this thing. Good ost too, too bad for the horrendous pacing and about almost everything else.
Also, never forget:
>literal cockpits
>no, really, cock-pits
Who though this was a good idea? kek.
>>14465509
Everything was better than G-Reco. Everything.
>>14458752
Google webm for retards and download that.
>>14465509
I just finished King Gainer and I felt it left way more things open to interpretation than G-Reco.
G-Reco was a lot more critical about weapons and politics.
King Gainer was more personal.
>>14459624
that's yoko kanno for you

>Also, never forget:

>Who though this was a good idea? kek.
It's an Anti-body's center of gravity.
This might be the most positive thread I've ever seen about Brain Powerd on here.
I love the show, probably the best depiction of the power of friendship and bonds in the genre.

There were a few traps in this show, is Tomino into that sort of thing.

>>14469257
There's a tool that limits filesize within range. Anon should've mentioned it.
Note I did not greentext.
I was making him aware he forgot that step.
It's handy.
>>14467201
>in
ESL, please.
>>14469535
Why? There's plenty of things that the original anon didn't mention that he/she could have. To make a webm you don't need a file size calculator. It can be a helpful tool but you don't need it to make a webm.
