I was a fan of the first half. But the second half was just horrible. The filler where Ange/Tusk fuck off to the dragon world or where Tusk and Momoka survives their deaths because lol Fukuda. The 2nd half was a disappointment and really fails to fulfill whatever lukewarm potential the early first half had. Much like VVV imo.

Eh, I really thought VVV mostly delivered on what it needed to. The second half wasn't as fun, but it mostly got everything across.

The onl;y issue was that there was legitimately too many plot threads to balance after the first season, so the second season really just didn't have enough time to deliver all that it clearly wanted to. The result was overall solid IMHO, though.

I'm not sure if the show would have benefited from more episodes (not always a good solution) or if it just needed some paring down and focusing instead of homaging so many sunrise shows and combining so many disparate elements and inspirations into a cohesive narrative.

No its just blown it out the water and V looks lacking in comparison with 75% of the cast being rehashes and the only exciting "new" entry being Crossbone.

And yeah, V's cast is pretty much shit. Hathway's flash and SBY are cool, but the rest we've seen in like every single SRW for a while so there's not much reason to care.
