Pretty good question actually. She looks like a massive guntaku obsessed with tanks so you'd think that the very first thing she'd do after finishing high school would be to enlist in the tank police. But she actually spent her first few years in the bike brigade before one of her friends got killed, and THEN she joined the tank police because she realized that you can't fight crime without a tank.
