The Gothicmades. I hated them at first when I found out they were retcons of the vastly superior older designs, but eventually accepted them as their own thing and they aren't bad at all.

I never liked the Toei Mazinger Z design much, and after watching all 92 episodes, I still don't like it. But as a consequence, I got around to accepting that it's not the worst thing in the world even if it does look like a bootleg version of Nagai's design.

I had always preferred the GX, but the Double X grew on me a lot over the years.
I like them about evenly now.
I hated the design of this thing when back when I first saw it. Two years later when I finally decided to watch Gundam UC, this became my favourite.
The pilot probably had something to do with it, but I grew to love this monstrous capsicum for it's sheer beauty.

Every suit from IBO at first. By the time I finished the series I really grew to love the medieval motif of the suits and the series in general.

The Mk.II takes everything wrong with the original Gundam and improves it. Though the RX78-2 is still good.
It takes a while but eventually you understand why the Baund Doc is a great design.
I liked it after Bellri killed Dellensen where the camera pans away from Bellri crying to the G-Self face.
Though I still think Destroy Mode is absolute shit.

I agree. Took me time to really appreciate the RX-72 as well. Especially after Wing's designs. Ultimately it'd be Dynasty Warriors Gundam that would help me like it more.
That said, Exia. 00's whole aesthetic, really. They were all so... thin and didn'the really look like they could take the beatings they did.

I did buy into the hatehype and the pepe memes for a while but, after seeing it in action, and getting my hands on the model kit, I really did start to love the Gusion. Admittedly, I still totally agree with the fact that it doesn't really hit into the traditional Gundam aesthetic, but the weird frog, turtle, beetle thing really does it for me.
