Haven't watched any classic mecha, but I'm interested to scope out 'Gaiking' because I've been watching the remake recently and man is it fucking fun. How does the original stack up against its contemporaries? From the brief synopses I've read it sounds like there's a lot going on for a show from the Seventies.
