Give me your thoughts on Xebec.
The Nadesico, Dai-Guard, Stellvia combo makes them homies for life.

They made Dai Guard. I loved it.
That's about all I got. Only other XEBEC thing I watched was the first season of Fafner, which was a resounding okay.
health
Dai Guard AND Nadesico
Occasionally GOAT, mostly steaming shit.
It's fine that they've made shit though cause it finances their good stuff.
>>14406772
They make shows with the right amount fanserviceand suffering, I'm looking at you Zwei

Crap

Not /m/, but everyone in the retro general should watch Mnemosyne. Whole thing was some weird exaggeration of all the things that made 90s OVAs popular.
argevollen season 2 when
Nadesico and Daiguard are great
Stellvia and Dai-Guard were great.
nadesico and stelvia were great.

>>14407442
Gay please go.
>>14407453
I want to fuck a human being with normal human tits, not a jelly monsterthis is all assuming I don't have a robutt as my first choice
Asura Cryin' and Heroic Age are still my favourite Xebec /m/ shows to this day.
>>14407540
And Upotte!! for the /k/id in me.
>>14407499
You're obviously a virgin.
>>14407499
Nigga you gay.
>>14406772
Only seen Heroic Age, which the best I can say about it was that it was tolerable. It had a dogshit fucking ending which didn't really wrap anything up in a satisfactory manner.
Also, they pay unlivable wages apparently, which I find to be kind of shitty. Without animators, there can't be animation, so they should pay handsomely to encourage animators to do the greatest job as possible. Isn't that the type of attitude the Japanese have always had? I don't get it on that front.
The Japanese have very selective reasoning, I guess.
>>14407806
>they pay unlivable wages apparently
Welcome to the animu industry.
>>14407806
Dai-Guard has a slow first episode or two but it's pretty good
>>14407806
All anime studios pay crap wages to their animators with Ghibli being the exception. Everybody else gets a normal to good wage.
Aside from Argevollen andTo Love Ru, I haven't seen much of their work.
From what I've seen though, they're alright.
Dai-Guard, baby. Nadesico, too.I liked Lets & Go and Upotte too
>>14408410
>He still hasn't watch Dai-Guard.
>>14406772
>>14408410
It's often overlooked, but Xebec also gave us smug Garmillans.

>soft fleshy bodies
Disgusting.
Smooth shiny hard metal, plastic and latex is where it's at.
>>14407380
They sure keep using the same guy to do character design on fanservice works, since they always end up thicker, regardless of source material.
>>14408680
t. latent homosexual
>>14406772
Hated by normalfags. That alone makes them good.
>>14407442
>>14407499
>>14408680
Oh, I see you like men. Well, good for you.
>>14406772
They made Nadesico so I like them. Then again, they also left it unfinished
>>14409396
>>14409454
>>14407709
Do you even know what board you're on? Fuck off fleshbagfags
>>14410197
At least it was appropriate that the show had a terrible last episode after having made all of those jokes about anime always having terrible last episodes.
>>14406772
Their giant robot stuff is generally interesting in concept, but pretty faulty in execution.
Have some good shows, and ruin others with shitty artstyle changes. Worst part is some people with defend some of those changes
>>14410237
You're still gay.
This hasn't been updated in like years but they are "mostly" okay
>>14407806

Only other studios that actually pay a decent wage/living for animation is KyoAni and Ghibli, but animation is expensive as fuck and, business-wise, not particularly lucrative or viable.
Welcome to the animation industry of Japan, unfortunately. It's a bubble waiting to collapse on itself.

Is there one for the other studios as well? Seems like an interesting way to highlight the best that each of the studios have to offer.
