Just like Toku is not, by definition, /m/ (i.e., Toku is not /m/), there is /m/ toku.
Accordingly, Nagai has done non-/m/, and that isn't /m/.

Go Nagai tends to be more or less accepted around here because even his non /m/ works tend to either reference or pay homage to much of his /m/ stuff. Not to mention all the cross overs.

I think the main issue here is that a lot of older anime is not easily accepted on other boards besides /m/.
Go Nagai is fine on /m/ since he was involved in a lot of mecha but the content of his that is obviously not mecha in any form shouldn't be allowed.
There really should be more boards on this site that are like /m/ that allows users to converse about older anime of that genre. /a/ is too fast a board for posting older/obscure anime/manga and /jp/ removes anything that isn't either Touhou or weird shit.
