Creepypasta is shitty attempts by people to make scary internet stories. They're usually very awful. SCP stands for Secure, Contain, Protect, and comes from an online community that runs this sort of site-wide fanfiction blog that plays out like a sort of monster containment group.

Seems sorta interesting and fun. Definitely no worse than a lot of the crap Gundam fanfic and forum-game shit out there.
