This isn't an actual episode, is it? I know Scooby's been doing some unusual stuff lately but Mystery Mecha was not one of the things I would have expected.

In the newest series, Be Cool Scooby Doo, they built off of Fred's love of traps and turned him into a complete tech savant. Every episode he's got some new upgrade to the Mystery Machine that helps them foil the villain. The can range from your usual booby trapped car gags, to making the van fly, Back to the future style.
In one of the latest episodes, the gang confront a giant cyclops monster and Fred unveils a giant red button that folds out of the gear shift. This causes the Mystery machine to transform its undercarriage into a giant robot.

Oh riiiight. The fact Be Cool Scooby-Doo existed completely slipped my mind. I remember the initial reveal being a "why" point among a few groups of people I knew.
Fred going full tech savant sounds potentially cool. Might give the show a watch if it ends up airing down here sometime.
