Wiki says Zeta, but I don't remember them at all and I just finished it. Don't remember them from 79 either. Is it ZZ?

I think you're thinking of the Guncannon MPs that show up.
They show up very very briefly during the Jaburo attack.
I just checked, episode 12 of Zeta, they're like in maybe a full second of animation, and that's them being transported on a truck.

Gm sniper customs and a guncannon heavy arms also make appearances in the jaburo episode. Honestly it's my favorite part of zeta.

Dunno about that, but there was definitely a Zaku Tank when AEUG begin to advance into Jaburo via a hangar entrance.
