I'm so starved for Patlabor I'm trying to rewatch the first episode of TNG to see if I could understand it with my limit weeaboo knowledge and I don't understand anything they are saying even knowing the dialogue

Why is this show still unsubbed? It's Patlabor, it's Oshii, is there nothing sacred anymore?
Here's the thing: 1) the episodes are longer than average and 2) there's no captions, making it even harder to translate when there's too much noise/overlapping voices. There's a reason why Skaro Hunting Society are the only ones who decided to take on it at all.

There are some crabsticks out there of it, machine translating the Chinese subs into English.
It really wasn't all that amazing. Coming from a pretty diehard Patlabor fan, it was alright, but there were only a few episodes that really stood out, not to mention the last episodes being pretty disappointing..
