Best Gundam romance this side of G Gundam. Garrod and Tiffa are adorable together, and Garrod is almost completely devoid of the pacifist whining that plagues most Gundam protagonists. Garrod kicks ass, defeats newtypes, destroys colony lasers, defies newtype precognition, and generally gives NO fucks about anything other than keeping Tiffa safe.
Also comfiest supporting cast in all of Gundam. There's no ship I'd rather be on than the Freeden.
I'm up to episode 20 and enjoying the show a lot. It being fresh and new to me may attribute to that somewhat, but I like that it's its own thing. Rather than the usual Faction A versus Faction B of most Gundam series, X seems to be more about exploring the destroyed world and character building.
It was decent. I'm pretty disappointed we didn't get to see Ennil's Esperanza Gundam. They could've had less of those MotW newtype candidates.

She gets her final suit in the show after them though (the blue custom Jenice). The Esperanza II was cut because the final Earth arc was cut.
