I'm pretty sure that I've seen missile pods mounted on every spot that it's possible to mount a missile pod. There's mecha with missiles pods on their back, mecha with missile pods in their chest, mecha with missile pods on their arms, there's even some with missiles pods in their face.

After seeing hundreds upon hundreds of asstarded missile weapon designs, I can't help but note that the coolest type of launcher around is the one with visible, reasonably feasible autoloader system and ammo storage, instead of the usual "it just goes pop and the launchers refill" bull.
In the end, I guess I like the leg-mounted disposable one shot anti-ship missile launchers on Zaku II's. Fire and jettison. Sturmfausts are also reasonable as anti-ship weapons.
