>kumagami will never pass out in your arms after being spooked
>>14362941
Man it's been years since I lasted watch patlabor TV.
>>14363058
First time watching it, pretty relaxing compared to all the gundam and super robot shows
What a cute boy.
>>14363061
it's more of a slice of life.
I was hoping that it would be more law and order or dragnet with giant robot.
>>14363073
>I was hoping that it would be more law and order or dragnet with giant robot.
Has there ever been a series like that? Because I'd watch the shit out of it.
>>14363073
yeah I thought going off the title and first few episodes it'd be that too. But I never thought I'd enjoy a episodic laid back mecha show like this.
I want more like this.
>>14362941
>kumagami
does she have anything to do with kumamiko?
>>14362941
I think i liked her better than kanuka. more than the tv version anyway. they made her too much of a bitch in the tv series and from what i remember she never really properly got on with anybody.
Early days/movie kanuka is great though
>>14362941
It's always been a fantasy of mine to be a sex slave for 2 kumagamis
>>14362941
They really fucked up by making the episode where the mechanic was going to go overseas a joke episode.
>>14363275
eh, the TV series was going for a growing mutual respect thing with Noa. The two of them really grew closer as they started to understand each other more and ended up with a nice inter character relationship.
Kumagami on the other hand never really did much of anything and was honestly kind of boring.
>>14364282
I'd get Noa drunk thenhold handswith her all nightin the dark
>>14364288
>>14364282
This episode was top tier.
>>14364291
COMBAT
>>14364531
It's my top favorite.
>>14364556
I miss Yo Inoue's Engrish
>>14364583
>We will never hear another line from Kanuka
>We will likely never see another animated Patlabor series
I know there have been 2 or 3 endings depending on the media, but I still miss that gang of gold hearted fuck ups
>>14364556
>>14364583
SHADDUP GIT OUT
>>14365563
You did it.
>>14365347
That live action its okay at least?
>>14365843
I heard the labors had pretty good CGI put into them, havent watched it myself so cant confirm
>>14365662
this is my favorite episode. Asuma's faces are just great, especially the one he does after "you did it"
>>14366056
Kanuka is love
just finished the TV series
comfy
>>14366914
I love that picture
>>14362941
more like
> you'll never bear hug Kumagami & comfort her when she's spooked by ghost story
>>14364288
That's fucking twisted of you, anon.
I'm best Kanuka replacement.
>>14371642
I think /k/ said this chick's technique was garbage and if a real army drill sergeant saw her doing that he'd beat some sense into her.
>>14371642
god, she constantly looks like she's about to be snapped like a twig...
>>14371674
Im glad Im not a /k/ tard because id be unable to enjoy half the shit I do if I where
>>14371674
/k/ doesn't sharpen their bayonets for avenging the deaths of their parents.
>>14371744
wait is she batman?
>>14371866
Weed thrives upon the corpses of your ancestors.
>>14371868
soooooooooooo Punisher?
>>14363073
Watch the movies
Was Noa supposed to be an alcoholic? I know she grew up with a dad that sold liquor or something and she got way too drunk that one time, is that ever expanded on?
>>14371869
With Russian expletives
>>14371912
>Was Noa supposed to be an alcoholic?
no, although she _can_ hold her liquor she's never really depicted doing any casual drinking. Either it's Office Drinking or not much else from what I remember.
>>14372140
But doesn't that mean she's a drunk, though?
>>14371912
they all intentionally got incredibly super shit faced that time
>>14372144
not really, no
while drinking regularly can raise one's tolerance there still is (as far as I know) what one's own body brings to the table
if there was intent for her to be a heavy drinker they probably would have shown it
>>14364152
What's even the problem?
That was the second best episode after the one where they run out of food.
>>14372162
Does noa's body tolerate alcohol? Does her elegant frame with sophistication exude metabolism?
>>14372306
signs point to yes
I bet somebody could go to that ep where she has the toothache and try to extrapolate how she handles opiods.
>>14371912
Of course not. If anything that line about her father drinking with her and running a bar were to establish that she was very much daddy's tomboy growing up. Same thing with the baseball mitt at the end of OVA2.
>>14377211
What am I supposed to be looking at here?
>>14363239
Kuma what?
>>14377947
It's a comfy show about crippling social anxiety
