It is a little crazy when Widow can shoot you in the foot for 75% of your HP. It's rare I find a Widow worth bitching about. They usually just stare down a choke point and let you do the work of walking into the crosshair if you're fighting others. I've seen, two or three that actually go to work. Most Widows don't do much when a Pharah gets the jump.

Yeah, that is like 80-85% of them. Then again, that is like 80-85% of sniper players in general.

That's why I think they will tone down the base damage of the sniper, it should hurt when you get shot (with a fully charged shot), but right now it feels a bit too powerful on non-head/crit shots. Cutting the base while upping the multiplier on crits (to keep the headshot damage the same) would reward skill shots, while preventing the garbage, one charged shot and one half charge to the body, that the crap Widows use currently.

They don't really have proper controls, they have these two little knobs that don't seem to do anything but turn left and right and levers the top to use the Overskill.

Actually, Gunbuster really is the only other one I can think of that has mocap controls, unless that was what was going on with GaoGaiGar. It was hard to tell.
Anyway, Z-Mind here has something similar. You see the standard control setup, but the pilots hardly even move the throttles, which leads me to believe that it's mostly controlled through these brain sensors instead. How that works when Z-Mind has three pilots is beyond me, but combiners have never made sense anyway

I like her design and all but I hate that whole 'team of heroes' style the game is going for where every character is radically different and no one seems to fit together.
It's the same reason I never played any Mobas. I just think it all looks terrible when every character clashes so dramatically with everyone else. I also hate crossovers, even SRW or the Gundam VS games. I like each of them alone but when you throw them all together it just turns into a boring mess because the things that made everyone cool and unique in their own property are drowned out by everyone being "cool" and "unique" so to me everything just becomes bland and uninteresting.
Like I'd play a game where everyone was in mecha suits and her gimmick was she's the flying one with missile swarms but when you have the gorilla guy, the eskimo chick, the edge lord, and all the other faggots mixed in as well my eyes just glaze over and I lose all interest.

A much of original mechs in SRW run on mocap. Valsione, Soulgain, Dygenguar, Raioh, and a few others. The Shura Gods kinda count but they're mumbo jumbo spirit energy instead of technology. Compatible Kaiser likely has mocap or a a similar setup to Gaogaigar but I don't know if it's ever been shown for certain.
