Unless I just read about the wrong series, yeah, no.
Story:
The far future, after the earth is ravaged by a great war. Pollution has halved the lifespan of mankind.
One day, a young man living in a slum, Shud, meets the mysterious runaway Atalva, and from him hears a story of a girl.
The girl's name is Eve. She has lived in the underground shelter built by the ancients, Neosphere, under the watch of an AI named Cradle for the past 3000 years, and is said to have a forbidden power.
Shud and Atalva, wanting to purify the polluted environment with that power, head to Neosphere and find Eve, but are attacked by the military. They are unable to stand up to the military's giant humanoid weapons, but just as they are about to give up hope, the mysterious white robot Tierblade shows itself in front of them, as if to protect Eve.

>spiritual successor to Escaflowne
So boring story about muh prettyboys fighting for me with nonsensical bits about spacetime traveling and nowhere near enough focus on the actually cool robots? Not that these robots look cool.

I'll take literally anything related to any of them at this point.

It really doesnt sound like anything like Escaflowne.

Too many grooves and edges, Definitely Escaflowne, but not so much to the more stone age medieval age type ones.

And which of those was filled with pretty boys and aimed at women?
So it is a Visual Novel... and it's gonna have a anime? Or this is just a highlight on /m/ VNs?
