What an abrupt ending. Anyhow, the 2nd half of this chapter was in color but the Japanese release had it in B&W. But the Italian version is in color so I plan to use that when I compile the volume. My brother told me after I had already finished the chapter, FYI.

I might as well give each a brief description
Janki 2025 is a 1 volume compilation of various Ken Ishikawa stories which are essentially sports manga, most about mahjong, one about golf and one about baseball. They range from a psychic beating another psychic who cheats at mahjong with her powers and falling in love with her to an action movie with mercenaries and mahjong to yakuza showing up at Koushien with spiked bats and wearing tattoos of asuras - dressed up as pitchers
Southern Cross Kid is another Ishikawa manga about a space cowboy, with story by the guy who wrote the Crusher Joe/Dirty Pair novels. It's 1 or maybe 2 volumes, I don't remember and don't have the raws right now
The Bryger anime is about a ruthless bunch of space mercenaries for hire who drink, gamble, have sex and play rock'n'roll. They have a cool car which transforms into a cool starship which transforms into a cool robot. In the second half of the anime they face off against a fabulous Egyptian mafia boss who plans to blow up Jupiter. I don't know if the manga even has raws available but I don't think it's terribly long. Certainly not longer than 2 volumes.
I'm sure you know all about Divine Comedy and Violence Jack, but just as a reminder: VJ's arcs are contained within a volume, often less. Iron Castle is cool as fuck and everyone's favorite arc because it's the Mazinger parody one and seeing Kenzo dressed as a child molester rip out Hell's still beating heart or kid Kouji pilot a giant blind black man by sitting on his head and give him directions are some of the most fun there's to be had with this manga.
I don't remember much about the Mondo/Mido arc, just that it somehow explains Mondo being alive and breathing after getting exploded into pieces.

Actually the problem is that in most part of the whole VJ, Saotome and Mido appears. There's a particular reason for their recurrence in the various arcs, and it's related to the whole VJ's story/world... so in the end this manga should be read without skipping chapters, because these chapters are in a certain way related; they little by little give you an hint on something untill it's clear what's going on.
Of course there are cases like the "Mazinger chapter", one of the less solid in terms of importance, that you can easily read just for fun.
If you want to "meet" Jun Honoo you can read the Hell's Wind chapter (there's also Tetsuya Tsurugi!) and see how she goes out of the story in the chapter Hurricane Dragons.
Dragon Fort is a kind of prelude to Hyper Grapple arc (aka Iron Muscle/Susanoo) while Aira Mu appears, as far as I know, in at least the same arc (Evil Town Kanto) covered by the OVA and lately in King of Brutes chapter.
Of course you should read also every chapter related to the little orphans that Violence Jack meets...
