I think it's catchy in it's own way. Honestly it doesn't really fit the series and seems to be a product of it's time. It's a bit cheesy and unfitting for the tone of the series, but considering a lot of changes where made to sell toys to kids, it's not a surprise.

The full version of the song was much better. It switched the position of the chorus to the beginning of the song, right after "CENTURY COLOR! MILLION COLOR!", and it does wonders for it.
