How do you guys feel about gunblades? Are there any mecha that pull it off right?

It's not used like a conventional gunblade, but the luger lance in Fafner's stab and then fire railgun method is cool.

I like some of them, mostly when it's more of a rifle with an oversized bayonet. Pic related.

I thought the GN-X-series lance/guns were pretty good, insofar as both shooty and stabby goes. But it's not a blade. >>14334886 and >>14334900 probably have the better examples.
As compared to, say, the gun-katanas in Astray B.
