This bad boy is protected against both beam and physical attacks, and its beam defense lets it move easily through water while its backpack gives it full flight capability. It's a highly mobile tank with a big gun that can be steered through the air after firing. Great stuff.

I guess the fact that everything that was not related to the ZAKUs and GINNs (and the BuCUE) wasn't going to be a toy/model means he could do whatever he wanted.
I liked how ZAFT make its army so diverse, their force could summarized in Air, Land, Sea, Space and ZAKUs.
Oh, and the nod to the Zeon suits. Due to watching SEED first, I always think of the ZAFT Armed Keeper of Unity version instead of those old UC thickish monoeyes when I read 'zaku'.
Why are all of Zeon's (and I guess ZAFT's) amphibious designs so... weird?
