Watch episode 67 though. It's much less famous, but it's a much better execution of the same type of story.

Right now I'm watching Dr Hell make Baron Ashura have a mental breakdown with Count Brocken and it's hilarious. I love how he seesaws between caring for Ashura and then making his/her life a living hell.

Holy shit, please tell me that the Broken/Ashura drama continues throughout the rest of the series because it's as interesting to see them clashing against each other as it is to see the Evil Plot of the Week.

Got to say the second OP's really growing on me. There's this huge sense of threat and power that you get from it. Really gets you pumped up.
One thing I miss from the earlier episodes are those rare times that Breast Missiles would actually do something.

The other ones I'll give, especially with that sick Scrander theme for the first one, but the episode where Sayaka went in Mazinger felt pretty generic.

I just love how random his anger gets; sometimes he'll console Ashura and offer him comfort, other times he'll just tie him up and have him whipped for his failure.

When I'm watching Ashura, Brocken and Hell plan to take down Mazinger Z, I just feel like I should insert an 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' style title card at the end of it.

Boss and Borot are great. Mucha and Nuke are under-appreciated as well IMO, but they all come together quite well.
