Not much. Largo suddenly being in love with Sylia was weird and out of nowhere. And Priss hating boomers is a bit weird after her befriending some in Crisis. But really, Crisis was all about the great action, art and animation, and Crash was just as good for those aspects. If anything, despite a few off bits, having three whole episodes as one plotline was a huge step up plotwise than the barely-connected episodes of Crisis. All in all I think its fair to just treat Crash as the last 3 episodes of Crisis. Both are great.

Kill yourself.
It was basically a step back. Aside from the aforementioned Priss going back to hating Boomers, that same arc felt stupid because they devoted a shitload of time to some super advanced humanlike Boomer that was actually less humanlike than the hooker Boomers in Crisis.
For the most part, Crash is not bad, it just doesn't really continue from where Crisis left off and instead changes quite a lot.

>asking what went wrong is a /v/ meme
It was a metaphor for the OVA market bubble crash.
>>14295739
Not enough money, not enough time, not enough creative control, still an okay OVA just not as great as 2033.

>animation
Animation was pretty bad desu.
The story is weaker than in Crisis.

Heh.

Crisis had a story? A few episodes had side characters cross over, but most of the episodes seemed more like one shot adventures than parts of an overarching story. Crash actually had a plot that every episode took part in.

Bluray when. Or heck, just a DVD remaster at least.
There were supposed to have been 5 unproduced episodes of Crisis, but Crash only has 3 episodes. I get the feeling that some of Crash's storyline had to be compressed -- for example, in the last episode, the plots about the Boomer Revolution and Largo trying to drill into the nuclear reactor were probably originally intended to be two separate episodes.
Other things that went wrong in Crash are Sylia holding a mission briefing in a sauna, and the Knightwing always launching out of Sylia's building where everyone can see it.

Hit up AnimEigo. They did a kickstarter for the original BubbleGum Crisis to get the BDs a stateside release. They just got done with Otaku no Video and Riding Bean, too.
They've been making waves over in Japan even with their work and they may just have a tiny bit of clout to push for some BD releases of some classic works.
Suits looked like shit.
Bad animation quality.
Ruined characters personalities.

nothing, fuck you
the original OVAS were perfect

it doesn't have gore

He's not talking about Crisis. Which isn't perfect by a long shot.
He's talking about Crash, which was a steaming pile of shit compared to the original OVAs.

Different VA for Priss.

As you can see all those BDs had a japanese release out before that, so they just used the same master. They won't be able to do anything if Japan doesn't make a HD transfer by itself.
>>14298479
They are doing AD Police after Riding Bean using their own transfer from the 35mm negatives.
>>14298595
The grim AD police or the gay AD police?
>>14298653
Grim. Gay modern AD Police was a mistake.
>>14298595
Actually riding bean is using the same transfer, just upgraded from a BD25 to a BD50. Still an improvement.
