When creating a draw thread, sometimes it's beneficial to pose a theme, challenge or contest of sorts.
One of the biggest ones we've ever had, was when a template was posted as said in no uncertain terms: Make this /m/ ( and looking at the dates on the files... That was back in 2010... jesus...)
Example included.
It's not enough to just say " Hey fuckers, post your shit", you have to add another element into the mix, something to give a reason for someone to want to post something.

That's actually why I started drawing MS Girls. My favorite thing about a mobile suit is the personality or badassery of it's design, and I felt all the one's I'd seen were very boring and waaay too moe, without any of the MS's design incorporated into the girl's outfit, just chunks of it pasted onto her. This Mack Knife girl was my first attempt at it, because I thought a feminine mobile suit would be easier to communicate.

Quite nice! Though I question what is going on with the lower legs, specifically the right one. Not sure if it's just because only the front panel is drawn, but it comes off looking super stumpy, and shorter than the upper part.
That might be intentional, but for me, when I see huge shoulder pads like that I prefer the legs to be longer to balance the look out.

The jist of it was that Giant Robots were actually just idols made to the different Gods of different religions. Some Godpocalypse of some sort happened and they lost all their bodies, so they possessed the idols that were made for them. Something along those lines, anyway!

Coming back to this design to play around with, and flesh it out. I've always been fond of the thing, and I hope to use it some time in the future.
It's supposed to be a man-sized robot, averaging around 5 ft. My main focus was on its legs, with emphasized calves. I imagined this guy doing a lot of running, so I wanted its legs to be in view. The big forearms are just out of habit.
It's wearing a coat just because I thought it'd be funny to see a robot running around in a raincoat.

Guy was a bit blunt, but if you ignore his tone he has a point- your coloring is definitely weaker than your lineart.
It's the lack of contrast, really. You rely too much on vague airbrush instead of defining your forms with value. Because of that, a lot of your colored pieces come out flat because you're just not using enough of a range of colors. Instead of using value to define your forms, you're relying on lines to define your forms, which is what's making it so obvious that your lineart is better than your coloring and shading.
Try drawing something without using lines at all- just painting it with big blobs of color, and defining things with just shadows and highlights, and using lineart as the final step of the process rather than the first step. It might help you shift away from lineart a bit, if you want to improve on that aspect of your art.
