Besides, nobody gives a shit about what he and Yune are attending. They've already made it clear that they're saving their "big reveal" for the upcoming San Diego Comicon where the producers of the proposed movie are supposed to be making an in-person guest appearance to give a progress report about the film (without a director or script apparently).

Its the fact that these guys are supposed to be giving some kind of special presentation on what's been done on the movie, but all they've been doing is try to get a script written, and anyone who has asks questions about it at previous cons (and they always do) its always been met with "Oh yeah, still working on it folks, we'll get back to you" from Kevin Mckeever, including the one they did last month. So unless they're implying that they're finally finishing this thing up in June, then there really isn't much they can say about it. Even if it gets finished they can't say much about it on principle anyway, and considering their director couldn't wait on them and went elsewhere with bigger opportunities (this is precisely why you need a script finished AND A PLAN before pitching a fucking movie) its likely just them giving the usual "THE REALY ROBOTECH IS COMING" peptalk to throw off the "Macross Saga" people.
