Are the mechs in Robot Alchemic Drive actually mechs? Or just giant robots? How are they classified?

It's a bit fuzzy to classify these ones since they're piloted psychically. You could probably get away with using either, but I'd personally stick with robots

I'm pretty sure RAD is the only game where you actually see the characters refer to the mechs as "giant robots".
Also I'm glad people are appriciating this game, it's fucking magical and fun even though it has the worst VA in gaming, clunky controls and plain unlikable characters.

There are countless worthy battlefields to point out that the japanese voice acting is just better and dubs are shit but this game isn't one of them.
The dub is so terrible it's good. That doesn't work for anime but for this game it's perfect.
