The mace should have been on the other end as a counterweight and back-up bludgeon.
Either that or it's wire attached and becomes some sort of guided bolo or flail. Dunno, but otherwise its placement is silly.

They didn't build them. They armored up old cheap rodi frames and replaced the feet with giant boosters to offset the increased mass since they were intending to only use them in a zero g environment. The two prong things were enough to kick off of things and stand.

It's that kind of moment that really sticks out to me. Here they are trying to save this one lil bastard, yet Mika has no problem killing a bunch of other lil bastards that live under the same conditions. And then they adopt the remaining orphans on the Brewers ship.

During Edmonton they finally get paid, fed real food and not get beaten for fucking up

If you're going to watch for animation, then you should skip it or watch the first 3 episodes. The rest of the fights are full of stretchy man doubles taking 90% fight time with terrible choreography.
The story doesn't help either because they only have one goddamn mission that drags on from start to finish without any exciting or sensible side quest. If you're into DRAMA and don't mind QUALITY animation then this might be the show for you.
