With >>14261740 existing, the genre sure has the most /m/ game ever made in its collection.

But RTS games all around, while certainly often employing some mechs in their sci-fi settings, are not much of an /m/ genre I'm afraid.

Not counting Japan-only titles, but games that you can actually get a hold of play and enjoy without shipping across the entire globe and paying for VPNs to play 200 ping using optical internet.

Stuff like Project Nimbus, astebreed , gigantic army, orbital gear.

I knew of Project Nimbus, been holding that one off until it gets finished because Early Access screws the game experience to hell and back for me.

Didn't know of the other ones (only keeping tabs on said Nimbus, M.A.V. and Heavy Gear Assault), though, so thanks.

And let's be fair, a licensed Wh40k game is usually a pretty bad cash grab nowadays.
Only Focus Home really cares and I don't think that game is done by them.

I don't think so. The krogoth was posted but got no reaction. TA was fucking great though, Long range heavy artillery is badly neglected in most rts.

Imperator Titans are very very silly. More so than other titans. This is coming from someone who genuinely loves Epic Armageddon and holds it to be the best game GW ever murdered.

And there's some STIFF competition in that catagory, believe me.

Thing is, 40k channels 2000AD hard, and "Walking Space Cathederal Battle Robot" is 2000AD as fuck. That said, Imperator Titans don't get mentioned all that much these days, mostly because of how goofy they are.

That said, we've had GW remember Knights and bring back the old design of the Warlord Titan for 40k so we might yet see a redesign of the Imperator make an appearance if the rumours of that 8mm Epic game are true.

I enjoyed Titanfall. It had some issues, there is no denying that, but I found it fun for a long time. To be fair I bought it later not at full price and often if not always played with friends.

Favorite /m/ game would have to be Front Mission 3 though. I really wish we could get some decent Front Mission ports or reboots.

I liked how missiles were fired in salvos and traveled in an arc. They could also be blocked by terrain. As fun as FM3 missiles were - Turning on a dime! Macross Zero style!

No I never did play it. I didn't have a PS2 at the time it came out and you know time goes on. I've been meaning to finish off the series with emulation but just never get around to it.

I love it to bits. It's everything I want in every RTS and I never ever get it- but that's why I bought it again when Steam released it.
I also have SupCom but the power of nostalgia and solid gameplay keeps me coming back to TA

They have their time. But space sims are usually more about ships than mecha. And ship threads tend to stay on art oriented. Maybe try a sim thread in a week or two when all the recent burst of video game threads dies down. You have the power, anon.

Strategy games in general do have a high degree of /m/ content. If the game has 3 factions one of them is bound to land a mech or two. Unless it's Submarine Titans or something (not that there is anything wrong with ST).

Equally prominent are STG if you count enemies and bosses. Even ones that do not seem like /m/ material at first - Strikers 1945 begin a good example. Not to mention pure /m/ porn like Leynoss.
