I like how he makes on swipe while somehow inflicting damage that would require two if not three strikes. Taking out the two beam pods simultaneously is fine, but he somehow nabs both arms with a downward strike. When doing the choreography & animation, did nobody really coordinate on how one frame moved to the next?

08th MS is well-liked, ending gets silly and the romance plot is forced even by Gundam standards. The main character also pilots a ball without dying... Shiro has the thickest plot armor in Gundam; it's not even hax, it's just straight-up armor.
It's a very good show that feels really gritty. It's a nice addition to the main section of UC.

Because Web OVA. Apparently when they release the DVD version, which I believe is taking more of a movie format, it'll include some deleted scenes as part of the film itself. Probably just to make the transitions from episode to episode a lot smoother, but you never know what got cut until you see it.

The Ohio team had completely standard Balls and they lived despite being antagonists in a Zeonwank OVA.
Don't underestimate Balls. Really. They're extremely good for what they are and by all means are capable of challenging MS, however like the GM they get little to no glory.

The flashes make it less bad - at least there's the implication of movement even if Kira returns to the same position. Pretty standard fare in VNs, but it is lazy for an anime that isn't trying to depict superhuman speed.

It's a small, highly maneuverable target with decent speed, good armor for its size, a gun well capable of killing MS, and arms that can act as weapons in a pinch. Clearly it worked, don't underestimate 'em.
