MS Igloo's Salamis were too small and stored them on the hull. There's a stupid scene where we see GMs strapped the hull with cables that are detached with explosive bolts. Other Salamis are large enough to carry multiple MS inside the hull.

In the series they're literally strapped to the surfaces of the ships, or carried by other means.
In reality the bulk of the Federation's MS and the like weren't towed by Salamis or Magellans, but by Columbus-class ships, as well as Salamis and Magellans which were converted with colossal external hangars. I can't remember the names of these variants, but there are images of them and they also show up in some Gundam video games as well as the novels.
People tend not to remember the Columbus class even though it showed up in-series, granted though it never showed up prominently and was nearly always in the background.

From what I know, its the first WH40K trailer to feature an imperial knight. And its really cool for the first few seconds it shows up but it ends disappointingly quickly. Also, I don't post often so I'm not sure how to embed a video.
