I love the original, but that's pretty meh. It's too overloaded with things and bits. The head horn is a good example and is just hideously large and overly complicated for no reason. The version of the original you posted isn't too bad though.

I don't like that it gives the unit a normal waist. It ditches the main visual distinguishing feature of the original to make it more regular looking. It's like Turn-A redesigns that ditch the mustache.

While the Barzam is one of my top favorite Titans MS, I'm forever annoyed that it has the little piece that goes from the tip of the helmet to the mouth. Why would you want your unit to have a piece of metal right in the middle of it's main camera? Other MS that do this like the Zaku I, Juaggu, and Zeong bother me with this too. Anyone else feel this way, or am I just being too autistic?

The Gundam Fix Figuration line has a figure that can swap parts to convert between Titans Mk II and Refined Barzam. It's pretty sweet, but good luck finding one since it was made in 2003.
