Yeah but even if the gm was shown before the zaku, its a boring design compared to a zaku. The zaku design is allocer the place; dome head with a horn and tubes, one spiked shoulder and one shield shoulder, a Japanese kilt or whatever, one eye, probably a dozen other weird things, and yet roughly 8 million years after the original series aired it's still a cool design
