it was 2010 when that was announced but i do remember original Rising Kojima did more than just put his name on the box.
That man looks like a man that was born in a small village. He was possibly still small when they were raided by soldiers, most likely foreign soldiers. At one point he may have been forcibly removed from his elders and designed to speak their language.
