Nope, there's a seperate page for that on the menu. I think the translation lists it as "refining" where you'd pay a specific amount of money and sometimes a kill count barrier to upgrade mechs to later forms.

Incidentally I also got Allenby in the same stage as Four, but I've said before, Nobel is hot garbage in this game. Only range 1 (P) weapons, which is pretty standard, but her movement range is 5 with no Accel to make up for it and her only non-(P) weapon is range 1-3. It's oddly similar to Godmars actually, but at least Godmars has the HP of a battleship.

Every point of Morale above 100 = 1 effective point in your Attack stat and Defense stat.
So getting 170 instead of 150 would effectively give you 20 more points of Mel/Rng and Def

The damage calc is (((Stat+Will)/200)*Weapon Attack Power)*Terrain Adjustment (1.1 for S, 1 for A,0.8 for B, 0.6 for C), and it's "where the target is located".
Pre-Damage Armor is (((Def+Will)/200)*Armor)*Terrain Adjustment, and it's "where the unit whose defense being calculated is".
This means that Melee, Shooting, Defense, and Will are +0.5% per point.

Your morale adds to your Melee or Range stats to determine the damage you do, and adds to your Defense to determine how much damage you resist. Your pilot stats are multiplicative with your mech stats, so 20 more points of morale makes you a lot stronger and tougher.

It's only useful if you get attacked a bunch of times in one turn, have no survivability at all, and are strong-enough to kill everything that attacks you with the counter.

If i'm doing the math right with those formulas, 170 morale would be better than infight+4 for damage, but worse than infight+9. Always better for defense.
Hm, that's a tough choice for kyosuke. I'll probably go with limit break as this is my first run through and i don't really have the pp to bring infight to 9.
