Not really, no.
They can still breed with naturals. It's only coordinator-coordinator pairs that have problems with fertility. If they used their genetic engineering to improve the gene pool and thereby augment the natural hereditary process instead of trying to supplant it completely they wouldn't have a problem. The issue comes from the segregation of naturals and coordinators necessitating coordinator-coordinator breeding pairs.

You realize the angels were not Jews (or human for that matter) themselves, right? It's why they argued with human lines of thinking a lot in the bible, because they were wholly separate beings.
