No, they're two completely different characters. Saber Marionete R is an OVA that takes place far into the future. J and X are the future series which take place 200 years prior. Different androids that share the same names. Since both are prototypes, I'm guessing its more of a hand-me-down title on the maker's part,...or they just weren't very creative.

Lime indeed a shit. Not only is her character design just fugly (that stupid fang, goddamn) she's the most obnoxious thing in the series. The really sad part is she's the main Marionette we're supposed to pay attention to throughout the two later series.
