Why is the 00 so underrated?

I like 00 but the GN condensers that are made from 0 Raiser's wings kinda ruin one of the things that made it cool, with how the GN drives rotated when propelling. That said it's still pretty cool even with the condensers.
Airplane back is also kinda ehhh.
It's sad how much detail is left out of the show version compared to the lineart.

The 00 is a perfectly solid, if not maybe a little boring, design.

How is the 00 underrated? It has a bloody Perfect Grade.
If anything the Qan[T] is underrated simply because of its lack of arsenal. The fact it only showed up for a few minutes didn't help either.

The 00 is one of my favourite gundams out of the franchise. It looks even better when it's the 00 Raiser and the Seven Sword/G.
As for it being underrated, I have somewhat mixed feelings about that. It has a whole bunch of model kit portrayals (FG,HG /1/144,HG 1/100, HG 1/60, MG, PG and RG), however, S1 of the anime was more engaging and entertaining compared to S2, so that might be a factor to explain why the 00 was "underrated", in terms of how the Exia performed compared to the 00.
I feel Reborns needs some love tho, but that's just me.

Basic 00 design looks amazing. Protrudes a sense of strength that Exia lacked and looked like a proper upgrade.
Then they decided to strap a plane to it's back making it look so goofy. Seven swords 00 or basic 00 with the should on the Twin drives looks the best.

I love normal 00, but I hate 00 Raiser.
I really don't understand the decision to strap a fuckhuge wing binders complete with that ass cockpit. Isn't it harder to animate than regular 00?

What's funny is that opinion is actually CANON to the show. Ian couldn't get the twin drives to stabilize properly when in trans-am mode so he quickly slapped together the 0 raiser as a temporary solution till he could figure things out (which ultimately resulted in 00 Qan[T]).
